Gardening has entirely been my favorite interest for roughly 15 years.
It started as an interest that I did with my mother on the weekends when I was home from university.
Before long I started designing my own garden along the edge of my property with budget plants from the local supercenter. I managed to grow zucchinis & pumpkins to full maturity after a few trials & errors. The flowers were absolutely beautiful—from perennials to lilacs & daisies, & even a few orchids in the fronds of a nearby palm tree. It was thrilling tending to the plants every other day & watching them grow over the course of a few years. I still haven’t given up gardening even as I’ve become much older. Now I have set my sights on growing cannabis in my backyard. I am a regular marijuana smoker but the high cost of the flower buds is intimidating to people like myself who are more or less on fixed incomes. If I managed to grow a few marijuana plants to full maturity, I could harvest them & then dry & cure them in storage until they’re prepared to trim & store in jars for later use. I obtained a couple of books on growing, plus a close associate of mine provided me a couple of seeds to get started with. She provided me with some sativa strains, a hybrid, & some indica strains. I’m gleeful to get my hands dirty & get started with growing marijuana in my backyard. I can finally use enough of the plant each day where I get consistent stress relief from one moment to the next.
