My body requires breaks from cannabis every now plus then

Twice each year I care about cleansing myself, however in the fierceness of the Summer heat I regularly set aside a single month for a complete “techno cleanse” as I call it, but that means no TV, no internet, no video games, no nothing.

  • I will keep our phone on for calls plus emergencies plus whatnot, although I stay away from it completely.

The point of it is to let our mind unplug from the constant barrage of news plus opinion online plus let myself and others reflect. During the Winter season I do a physical cleanse, which entails stopping the consumption of all alcohol, pills, plus cannabis. This is much more taxing for myself and others recognizably, especially since I am a delivery driver for a cannabis dispensary… And at the same time, I feel this makes it all the more important to take breaks from cannabis, to make sure I don’t develop a problem. I feel people don’t get addicted to marijuana, that’s pure 60’s fear mongering, but it can get in the way of doing your work. If I am going to spend all day, every day surrounded by cannabis then I need to possess the willpower to say no when I need to, right? I never get stoned at work anyway, just because I will permanently lose any future work as a cannabis delivery driver for driving while under the influence. That is the manager’s greatest no-no in the rule book! Still, it is honestly taxing to manage for a whole month or 2 without getting off of work plus going back to the cottage to rip through a few fat bowls of medical grade cannabis.
