I decided to learn how to grow marijauna at my own household

I have had nothing but superb experiences with cannabis since trying it a couple of years ago.

  • I’ll admit that I had trepidation for years regarding the plant.

I was raised in a fairly conservative area by parents who seriously believed marijuana use would lead to heroin addiction. Although they might have muffled their views towards the plant in recent years, they still adamantly dismiss its medical value across all fronts. By the time I got to university, marijuana was offered to me in every direction I went. Still, it took me a few years to finally try the drug, and to this day I am angry for waiting so long. I had pent up anxiety complications that only became obvious after noticing how much using cannabis would calm my nerves and melt away my terrible thoughts. I was sticking to indica strains that promote calmness and sedation over the sativa strains that tend to be more stimulating and psychoactive. As much as I appreciate marijuana, I can’t handle the expensive prices at the dispensaries. I’m using the plant medicinally, but the prices put the medicine at a place where few people can access it and benefit from it’s amazing effects. That’s when I got the whole idea to grow cannabis in my household. I saw a plethora of grow boxes on the internet that come equipped with excellent lighting systems and hydroponic growth mediums. The plants are suspended a couple of inches below the surface of the water while an air pump continuously aerates it to replenish the roots and promote growth in the plants. Since I’m limited on funds I can only cover the cost for a grow box that fits four plants in total. Hopefully once I start saving enough money after my first harvest, I can use those savings to purchase a greater grow operation for my personal use.
