Game nights turned into cannabis parties
It started out as a simple game night and my roommates and I would host it once every 3 weeks or so.
We invite people over to play seasoned games.
The bunch of us would set up a bunch of unusual games, all the cool seasoned stuff all of us got at the secondhand store similar to Battleship, Connect Four, and Uno. The bunch of us would even try Monopoly at times, however all of us could never manage to finish a game. People would consistently bring snacks and drinks, and usually they brought cannabis, or edibles, on top of that… After a while all of us stopped playing games, and after that all of us stopped pretending it was a game night when it had transformed into a cannabis and wine evening… There was no tough and fast rule against liquor, or other substances, however cannabis and wine was best for all the people and all of us made the choice not to push it. The bunch of us had been using games to generate a sense of bonding at these parties, however why bother when cannabis does the best job of it? There is something entirely magical that happens when you twist up a couple of fat joints of cannabis and pass them around a circle of amazing people. When you all smoke the same marijuana and easily feel that same high at the same time, you absolutely feel so connected to all the people around you. Most of us just listen to music and talk to each other on cannabis-and-wine get-togethers, however every once in a while someone will pull out a game. It doesn’t matter if all of us are smoking, or enjoying edibles, all of us consistently have an amazing time.
