During Christmas, the kids snuck out and smoked pot

It’s really strange to have kids that aren’t teenagers anymore. My wife and I have three children and they are all grown and out of that house. We still see the kids frequently. They come to that house on Sunday afternoon for dinner and we see them once or twice throughout the week as well. This year for Christmas, we decided to have a huge party and get together with all of our family and friends. We invited the neighbors and we even invited the postman. Everyone was welcome to come join the holidays. At one point during the evening, all three of the kids disappeared. I sent my wife to look for them. She came back a few minutes later and told me that they were all in the garage smoking pot. During the Christmas party, the kids all snuck into the garage to smoke pot. It’s legal in this state and the kids are all old enough to legally purchase marijuana. There really aren’t a lot of things that my wife and I can say. I told the kids that I was disappointed that they all disappeared at the same time while we were entertaining our guests, but they did not believe it was a big deal. The kids returned to the party after I found them and said something about the marijuana usage. As soon as they came back into the house, one of my neighbors made a comment about an odd and bizarre smell in the air. I know the kids smell like marijuana, but I honestly tried to blame it on my wife’s cooking.
