Treating chronic pain with medical marijuana

More and more states are passing laws to allow people to buy medical marijuana.

Pain is 90% of the reason why many people pursue a medical marijuana prescription.

This chronic pain can come from cancer, glaucoma, headaches, nerve pain, or a variety of other long-term conditions. Doctors can prescribe medical marijuana to treat a number of problems such as muscle spasms, nausea, seizure disorders, poor appetite and weight loss. Our body has neurotransmitters that produce chemicals that affect inflammation and pain. Marijuana can often help the neurotransmitters work better. Medical marijuana is available in many forms. It can be eaten, smoked, vaporized, or even liquefied. Medical marijuana has very few risks, but it should not be used by people who are pregnant or have heart disease. The only way you should use medical marijuana is if you have been prescribed the drug as a treatment option by your doctor. I have been suffering from Crohn’s disease for the past 10 years and the doctor recently gave me a prescription for medical marijuana. Medical marijuana helps with chronic pain and inflammation. I use marijuana in the morning, afternoon, and at night. I don’t mind the side effects, because the chronic pain from Crohn’s disease is much worse. Sometimes the pain is so excruciating that I can’t walk or move from bed. It was debilitating until I turned to medical marijuana to help me deal with the pain. Now I can enjoy an active life with my friends and my family and that includes getting out and doing things like hiking, fishing ,and sailing.
