Somebody at work stole a lot of cannabis concentrate

If they had a license plate number, perhaps they could question the driver of the car

Monday morning I arrived at work a few minutes after 9. I was running late and got caught in traffic. When I arrived at the store, the entire parking lot was filled with police cars. I was afraid to go inside the dispensary, but an officer escorted me inside of the building. Once inside, I was immediately taken to a separate room to be questioned. The manager of the cannabis dispensary came into the room to speak with me first. The guy informed me that $3,000 worth of cannabis concentrate was stolen the night before. Whoever took the cannabis concentrate had the code to the alarm for the cannabis shop. Every person working for the dispensary needed to be questioned. I didn’t have anything to hide, so I didn’t mind answering any questions the police wanted to ask. They asked if I saw anything strange the previous day. I remembered seeing a car parked out back most of the day. I thought it was strange, because none of our customers park in the back. Everyone parks out front. I didn’t notice the car as an employee either. I’m not sure if the car had anything to do with the crime at the dispensary, but it was worse than looking into the security tapes. If they had a license plate number, perhaps they could question the driver of the car. I answered all of the questions and I let the officers fingerprint me as well. I’m sure they’ll find my fingerprints all over the building, but I know they won’t be anywhere near the alarm. I don’t have anything to worry about, but somebody around here certainly does.
