The dispensary rules makes me so frustrated

On the first of the year, the rules at the dispensary changed.

Nobody bothered to tell any of the customers and most of us found out the hard way. I found out about the new rule change on Tuesday when I went to the marijuana dispensary to pick out a couple of items. I only get paid one time during the month and I have to buy all of my marijuana supplies at once. I get a 20% discount because I am a disabled veteran. I still spend about $200 every month on medical and recreational marijuana supplies. When I went to the dispensary on Tuesday, I picked out four 1 gram pre rolls. Each one of the pre-rolls were infused with liquid diamonds. Liquid diamonds is another term for concentrate. They are infused with a small amount of concentrate but most of the pre-roll is filled with marijuana flower. I also bought four grams of marijuana concentrate and two packs of pre-rolls. I also got pre-rolls that were infused as well. These particular pre-rolls did not have liquid diamonds, but they were infused with distillate. The guy at the counter told me that I was over my limit for the day. I told him that was impossible because it was my first time in the store and I had less than the limit. The daily limit is 8 grams of concentrate and I only purchased four. The daily limit for marijuana flower is 28 grams and I had only purchased four and a half. That’s when the budtender informed me of the new rules. Any product infused now counts for the full total weight of the product.

I have the best wife in the world

I have to get up for work very early in the morning.

Sometimes it’s still dark outside.

I try not to wake up my wife, but she usually gets up when I am in the shower. Sometimes she gets out of bed at the same time as me. He always makes me breakfast every single morning, and sometimes she packs me a bowl to smoke when I get out of the shower. My wife knows that I love to smoke a bowl before I go to work. I always feel a lot of stress and anxiety in the morning before I go to work and a bowl of recreational marijuana makes me feel much more calm and relaxed. I frequently have to talk to customers and sometimes I stutter or trip on my words. When I get high, I think that I can speak more easily. My wife has gotten up every single day this week to pack me a bowl. She even went to the recreational marijuana dispensary on Wednesday and picked out a new sativa strain called Jack herer. Jack herer and blue dream are two of my favorite sativa strains. My wife surprised me with the bowl of Jack Herer on Thursday morning. It was very flavorful and tasted a little fruity. It was definitely better than most of the strains that I usually smoke. My wife said it was one of the top shelf strains and she picked it out because she knows how hard I work. I really do have the best wife in the whole world.

The sativa strains are great for mornings

I have trouble with chronic back pain.

I was injured in a car accident and it took three years to get a settlement.

During that time, I coudln;t see a doctor. Marijuana helps with the chronic pain I feel. In the morning when I wake up, I smoke a sativa marijuana strain. Sativa marijuana strains are well known to create a euphoric and uplifting feeling. They produce energy and make the person feel creative. I usually get a great head high and buzz when I smoke a good sativa marijuana strain. There are lots of different marijuana strains that are sativas and some of the most well-known products include blue dream, Maui wowie, and Jack herer. AK-47 is also a very well-known marijuana strain in this part of the state. I can find that strain and shatter, batter, butter, and even live resin. I usually stick to marijuana flower strains and in the morning I prefer blue dream. Blue dream is a mix of blueberry and haze. It has a very light, fruity scent. Blue Dream is a great sativa marijuana strain for the morning hours when I am just getting my day started. Sometimes I don’t know what I want to do with my time. If I get high, I can find a thousand things to do. I might clean the house or sit down at the sewing machine and make a dress. I could make brownies or come up with a brand new recipe for steak. I never know what I will end up doing when I wake up in the morning and get high.

Our new friends smoke marijuana too

It’s hard to tell who smokes marijuana these days and who does not.

Since it has been legalized for everyone to use recreationally, there are people from every walk of life that smoke.

When I go to the dispensary, I see lots of different kinds of people from all over town. I visit a marijuana dispensary that is down by the airport and about 8 miles away from my house. It’s not very close to me, so I don’t know anyone else that goes to the shop. I don’t really know a lot of other people that smoke marijuana either. When I was at the dispensary a couple of weeks ago, I ran into a guy that lives at my apartment building. He was waiting in line. I introduced myself and he remembered my name. We started up a conversation while we were both waiting. After we were done in the dispensary, I gave the guy my number and told him to give me a call. The next day he called to see if I wanted to come over and smoke weed and play video games. I really don’t have a lot of friends that I can’t hang out with and smoke weed, so it’s nice to meet someone new. Since I recently moved to this neighborhood, I haven’t met a lot of people. I’ve only been hanging out with people from work. They’re fun, but all we talk about is work and the office and I want to have other conversations about sports, history, politics, or religion.

Research a bit about cannabis first

I was shocked at how much goes into cannabis.

You can just walk into the dispensary and ask for some weed.

It is better to research and narrow down exactly what you want. First, how are you going to take in your cannabis? You can smoke it, eat it or put it on your skin. The way you take in weed affects the strain and what equipment goes with it. Another aspect of cannabis is if you want a sativa or an indica. A sativa is a daytime use strain. It gives you a high and makes you feel energetic, euphoric and fun. An indica is for nighttime use and is body high. You will feel peaceful, calm and relaxed. Another consideration is how much THC and CBD in the strain you are choosing. THC is what makes you feel high and loose. CBD is the medical side of the plant. You usually are more mellow, relaxed and peaceful with more CBD. After all that is done, what strain do you want? There is OG Kush, Purple Haze and Blue Dream to name a few. Do you want a good mouth feel, a nice smell or what is cheap? There are a lot of options in the cannabis industry. Walking into the dispensary and not knowing the basics of what strain you want is a mistake. It can be overwhelming for a first time user when they don’t know the bare minimum of information. A little research goes a long way and ensures you get the product that you want.

Ways to take in your cannabis

I am a big lover of cannabis.

I like how versatile it is. In the world of recreational weed, there are so many options when it comes to consuming the product. Most people know about the flower form. It is a loose leaf form that can be packed into a bowl, rolling papers, hookah, bong, you name it. Smoking flowers is great because you get to experience things like mouth feel and taste. However, the prepwork with flower is quite a deterrent. You need to have a lot of materials like a grinder, lighter and ashtray. If you don’t have a steady hand, a lot of that cannabis is wasted in the packing process. A cannabis oil is another form you can smoke and it is much more cost effective. It is oil cartridges that you just load when it is used up. Simple, easy and healthier than a flower form. With smoking you are getting a longer high, it just takes a bit to hit. What if you want to get an intense high right away? Most people swear by edibles in that case. You can get a wide variety of food items with weed in them. Typically pot brownies are just the tip of the iceberg. There are drinks with THC and CBD in them. You can get hard candies, gum, tablets, mints and even a breath spray. There are cannabutters and cooking oils that allow you to make your own edibles. A tincture is an oil form that is placed under the tongue or in a drink. What if you don’t want to consume your cannabis? A topical is a carem that is applied directly to the skin for chronic pain and inflammation relief.

Medicinal cannabis helps with health issues caused by stressful job

My job is demanding and stressful.

I am often required to head into work early, stay late or spend my weekends at the office.

Because of the pressure and sedentary lifestyle, I’ve developed issues with neck pain, insomnia, migraines, carpal tunnel and tennis elbow. I sometimes get anxious or experience depression. I actually really love my job. I’m always paid really well and benefit from excellent healthcare coverage. There was a point where I considered quitting. I worried that I was sacrificing my physical and mental health. A friend of mine recommended cannabis to treat my variety of concerns. She explained how cannabis is a plant-based remedy that offers a wide range of health benefits without causing harmful side-effects. Ready to try anything, I made an appointment with a doctor qualified to make medicinal marijuana recommendations. The process wasn’t overly difficult or time-consuming. With my MMJ card in hand, I made a trip to the closest dispensary. I explained my problems to a budtender who was really sympathetic, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained that CBD products effectively treat pain, inflammation, stress, mood issues, sleep problems, migraines and all sorts of complaints without causing any psychoactive effects. I can take these products before or during the workday and remain clear-headed. After I get home from work or during free time on weekends, I sometimes choose high in THC products that are a great way to unwind and relax. I am still experimenting with different types of consumption methods, strains and potency to figure out what I like best. It is such a relief to finally have a positive outlook.

Treating menstrual symptoms with CBD

I have struggled with extremely difficult menstrual cycles since puberty.

I went on an oral contraceptive at the age of thirteen to help with the intense pain of cramps.

There was little improvement. For over twenty years, I’ve spent several weeks every month dealing with a swollen abdomen, back pain, insomnia, migraines, constipation and mood swings. I’ve tried home remedies and over-the-counter medicines with very limited success. I was uncomfortable with the harmful consequences of synthetic remedies. While researching natural alternatives, I discovered cannabis. I hadn’t realized that there were cannabis products targeted at alleviating menstrual pain. Because only medicinal marijuana is currently legal in my state, I first need to go through the whole qualification process to get my MMJ card. Fortunately, this was completed fairly quickly. I was then able to visit the dispensary. My intention was to purchase CBD gummies, vapes, beverages or tinctures that are recommended for pina relief. However, when I consulted with a female budtender about my difficulties, she recommended CBD vaginal suppositories. Combining coconut oil and cocoa butter with cannabidiol extract, the suppository is inserted into the vagina and gradually dissolves. This allows the CBD to pass into the bloodstream by way of the vaginal walls. The CBD influences receptors in the endocannabinoid system to alleviate pain, inflammation, swelling and the majority of my symptoms. Getting my MMJ card and shopping at the dispensary has been life-changing for me. At the first sign of discomfort, I use a suppository. I sometimes supplement with other methods, such as edibles and tinctures, depending on the severity of my symptoms.

I had a really great dispensary HR guy

At the start of December I was in a dark, deep depression! Not only did I not prefer the Christmas holidays, but I didn’t prefer anything; I won’t go into our personal misfortunes, but suffice to say the divorce hit myself and others pretty hard… My oldest and dearest acquaintance is named Ed, a guy I have known for over 20 years, ed decided to fly into neighborhood and spend the holiday with me.

It had been a while since I had seen Ed, and almost immediately he managed to cheer myself and others up, then once he got off the plane, our first stop was the local cannabis dispensary, then at the time I was living wipe and sober, mostly because our wifey constantly had an issue with myself and others smoking marijuana. “Happy wifey, cheerful life” means that I stopped smoking cannabis because it made her cheerful. Now that she was out of the picture there was no reason not to split loose and have a little fun, so I made a few purchases at the cannabis dispensary myself. Ed loaded up on vape products and cannabis edibles, but I went right for the strongest, most potent sativa strains the store had in stock. I purchased several weird flavors of sativa, ranging in strength from 14$ to 31% THC content! The rest of Ed’s stay was lost in a heavy cloud of pungent cannabis smoke. I don’t remember much, but I guess every one of us laughed a lot. Now that Ed has gone, I still have half an ounce of cannabis left over, but it’s not as much fun without him.

We only had four medical cannabis dispensaries in 2017

A lot has changed in the last five years, especially the business landscape in my county.

For years we had vacant strip malls and old bank buildings left unused after the Great Recession of 2008.

It seemed like most new businesses were doomed to fail from the start, especially restaurants and specialty goods stores. I loved the old hobby store on Main Street, but that closed down in 2014 and was never seen again. The same thing happened to the vinyl records store in 2017. But there was a real recovery in the economy between 2018 and 2020, which saw the opening of new restaurants, stores, and service businesses like banks, law offices, and medical buildings. This also coincided with the passing of a medical cannabis law in our state, which happened in the last quarter of 2016. We only had four open medical cannabis dispensaries during 2017, but half a dozen were approved by the Department of Health during 2018. By 2020, we had doubled our number of open cannabis dispensaries. Since our state has vertical integration in our medical cannabis industry, that means all cannabis companies must operate from seed to sale. They have to grow their cannabis plants, process them into products, and then sell those products to the medical cannabis patients. Most cannabis companies open retail stores called dispensaries, while other cannabis companies utilize delivery services only to get their products to their customers. My favorite cannabis company has both cannabis delivery services and dispensaries open in every county in this state. If you order at least $100 worth of cannabis products at once, you can get free home delivery.
