I don’t really need cannabis for medical purposes. I also really like edibles and they never get prescribed medically. Thankfully work has me traveling a lot. When I first started cannabis I bought loose leaf flower and packed my own joints. I loved getting the rolling papers and all different strains of weed. I liked grinding, rolling and lighting it myself. I felt so handy and accomplished. I then noticed I was losing a lot of the flower in the process. I am not the most careful of people. I went pretty hog wild. I would overpack the joint to the point I couldn’t seal it tight. I would grind up and ruin the flower with my aggression. It seemed like most of my product went to the floor. The mouth feel is great and I love that my high comes on slowly but lingers a long time. I used to like the prepwork that came with flower. I would grind up the loose leaf flower, pack a bowl or roll a joint and then light and smoke. It was soothing to do that whole process. I realized it was a lot of time wasted though. Before I had kids I could easily do it in front of the TV and relax. Now by the time my kids go to bed I need to smoke quickly. I just want to smoke enough to relax before bed so I can sleep. My husband and I no longer linger at night. We get our stuff done and go to bed. A vape just turned out to be better for me. I don’t like vaping an oil cartridge as much. It doesn’t feel as fun and the mouth feel isn’t as good. Oh well. It is quicker and more efficient. I just click a button and inhale. The vapor has no odor and dissipates quickly. I can vape in the house and the kids won’t smell it. A few hits from the vape and I can quit too. With flower you either lose your product or smoke it down. The vape allows me to stop and do other things. I take a few puffs, get nice and high and then sleep at night. Maybe someday I can make the switch back again. Marijuana absolutely helps with my mental health. It makes me feel more calm and relaxed. I have suffered from mental health issues since I was a teenager. Last weekend my friends and I went to the cannabis shop to see if anything was on sale. There was a person in the lobby giving away free hats and t-shirts. The person was from a company that I did not recognize. I found out that they were a company that makes edibles. I got a free baseball cap with the name of the company.
