I love the new rewards program at the local cannabis dispensary

I utilize all of the store discounts, sales, and coupons that I can manage to find whenever I go out to get current groceries or other items for our residence.

Now that a bunch of us are limiting our trips out of the residence for only essential purchases, this cuts shopping down to once per week or less.

As a result, I commonly have a full cart when I eventually make it to the grocery store. I wouldn’t be surviving at all now separate from the aggressive coupon cutting that I have devoted myself to while always looking for sales at local stores. It’s nice when the grocery store offers a great rewards program that gives you huge discounts after you spend so much money each and every month. I was cheerful when the cannabis dispensary near our residence announced a brand new rewards program for its shoppers in their weekly newsletter. Every time you spend a dollar, you get one point. When you eventually get to 500 points, or $500 worth of purchases, you’re completely eligible for 20% off on a single order. It’s really great when you finally reach the 500-point threshold, because that’s when I make a good sized purchase close to $200 and get $40 off before walking out the door with all of my things. THC cartridges with strong distillate inside are not cheap in the slightest, regardless of whatever dispensary that you are shopping at. So if I can get additional savings just from shopping there often, it makes it easier for me to afford products that would otherwise be inaccessible to me with my severely limited income. It’s truly nice to know that I can get a gram of wax or shatter if I wait for my 20% off promotion to hit my store account. If you’re a veteran for instance, you automatically get 20% off every purchase to begin with. Getting 40% off on a single purchase is a really nice deal for veterans using cannabis to help cope with mental and physical ailments.

Buy cannabis now

Need something to help me sleep

I have never been able to sleep well at night. I have lots going on in my mind and I just feel restless. I tried everything the natural way to help myself sleep easier. I bought a top of the line mattress with gel pillows and bamboo sheets. I got a sound machine and eliminated blue light before bed. I also did yoga to relax and eat kiwi before I went to sleep. All of that is supposed to help a person relax. It did absolutely nothing for me. I went online for more help and found that a lot of people use CBD in order to sleep. CBD comes from the marijuana plant. It has no THC which means you don’t get high with it. You can have CBD gummies, sprays, oils or even lotions. I went to my local cannabis dispensary and bought the gummies and oil to see if I could sleep well at night. An hour before bed I eat a few gummies as a treat. I then have a relaxing cup of tea with a few drops of CBD oil in it. I don’t feel super mellow or even all that different. I have noticed that I sleep longer periods now. I am not totally relaxed and doing a full night yet. So now I am wondering if I up my dose if I will see bigger rewards. I am willing to be high as a kite at night as long as I rest. I am thinking of going back to my diepsnary and asking for a strong dose of weed that will put me out at night.

Medical marijuana card was easy to get

Recreational marijuana is still not allowed in my state, medical is though.

I kind of figured getting a medical marijuana card would be next to impossible. I figured it would be a lot of hoops to jump through, money and time. When my anxiety got to the point where it was affecting my work, I was willing to jump through any hoop for help. I found a doctor’s office that gives out medical marijuana prescriptions. I told the nurse what I wanted, got an appointment and I chatted with the doctor for maybe five minutes. I told him about my anxiety and panic attacks when driving. I told him about my freak outs at work. The guy then wrote me a prescription for cannabis flowers and some oils. That was it! I then was able to fill my prescription at a legal weed dispensary with no issue. It took me two days of work. One day was the doctors and the other was picking up my cannabis products. I now have as much legal weed as I want to help out my anxiety. I am able to drive to work with no freak outs. I don’t panic over nothing and I can’t focus throughout the day. Yes, my strains do have THC in them and that creates a high feeling. I have not noticed it affecting my life negatively at all. I actually look forward to smoking my flower or oil each day. I should have pursued the route of medical marijuana long ago. It was easy and has provided me with so much relief.

CBD for chronic pain

When I started college gymnastics, I did not realize it would follow me most of my life.

The experiences are ones that I will forever remember, at one point I thought the pain would be as well. After college I experienced terrible shoulder, hip and foot pain due to tumbling. My chronic pain got to the point that I was unable to work out. I could hardly get up out of bed. Long car rides were horrible for me and I would frequently have to crawl to get around. Going to the doctor did not prove to be very helpful. I got massages, tried stretching and eating anti-inflammatory foods. In my research online I found that a lot of people rely on CBD for medical uses. They use CBD to treat depression, stress and anxiety. A ton of people also rely on CBD to manage pain levels. I was not completely optimistic that CBD from the marijuana plant could do anything. But, I was desperate for some relief and went to a cannabis dispensary. The budtender recommended a CBD oil. He told me to put a few drops in my morning coffee and then in my tea right before I go to bed. There is no THC in the product so I wouldn’t be feeling high at all. The most the CBD would do was mellow me out. I don’t even notice the oil in my drink or feel any effects. The only thing I have noticed is that my pain levels have never been so small. I am able to work out again and sit for a portion of time!

Taking classes so I know about medical marijuana

Recreational and medical marijuana are allowed in my state.

When I wanted to be a budtender it was highly recommended to take cannabis education courses.

I took different classes like cannabis 101, budtender sales training and marijuana products training. I additionally made it a point to learn about the medical effects of cannabis on the body. I planned to work in a recreational cannabis dispensary, but that did not mean people with serious medical issues would not stop in. I wanted to know what strain was right for every issue. I wanted to know if smoking or ingesting weed was better. I additionally hoped to learn if CBD would be good enough in certain cases. Medical marijuana training has been so great for my job. Even if I don’t have a customer with medical issues, it is nice being able to tell them what their strain could also help with. Severe cases like chemotherapy during cancer, seizures, PTSD and Alzheimer’s use medical marijuana. Some people use cannabis for anxiety, depression and chronic pain as well. You can also use cannabis just to sleep a little better at night. Most people walking into our dispensary are worried about the THC content and just want to have a good time. It is rare, but when I do get someone with a serious issue, it is really nice knowing that I can help them with the right cannabis product. They are going to get relief because I have the knowledge and want to do my job to the best of my ability.

Medical cannabis for PTSD

When my brother joined the marines, I knew it was a bad idea.

He is a sensitive soul and already had slight issues with anxiety.

When my brother came back from the service, he was a total mess. He has bad PTSD and terrible anxiety. The dark, loud sounds and crowds of people are triggers for him. Most people recommended taking him to a doctor and getting him a prescription. My brother has been known to abuse certain things in life. I did not want to give him pills that he could possibly overdo it with. I then started googling online what to do about anxiety and PTSD. I found that medical cannabis seems to be the solution. Medical marijuana has been known to lessen the stress with PTSD and reduce anxiety significantly. After getting him a medical marijuana card, going into a dispensary was interesting. The two of us did not know what to expect. The cannabis dispensary was very professional and had so many products to choose from. There were cannabis flowers, oils and edibles. We found all sorts of different smoking devices like bongs, hookahs, rolling papers and pipes. The budtender at the dispensary was super knowledgeable and knew exactly what my brother needed. Now that he is relying on medical marijuana, my brother is like a whole different person. He can sleep easier at night. Loud sounds don’t have him jumping off the walls. He also has been able to socialize in pretty decently sized groups now. Medical cannabis has really changed his life for the better.
