She loves the concept of the cannabis dispensary

In school there was a lady called Vee who lived right next to campus.

She didn’t own an automobile, didn’t have a task, and didn‘t go to university.

All she did was sell weed to the school students. Vee had lived in the same home for over 23 years, because weed is an inelastic market and there is regularly a high demand for it in any school town. Not so long ago the state finally legalized medical cannabis, and Nicky assumed that would put Vee out of business, but she was wrong. In fact, Nicky has kept going back to Vee for cannabis ever since she graduated, because her prices can’t be beat. As much as she cherishes the concept of the cannabis dispensary, they charge over twice as much for weed, and Nicky just can’t afford that; Occasionally, one of the local cannabis shops will have a large event or a special sale, and after that Nicky will show up and see what they have to offer. Most of the time even the discounted cannabis is still more costly than Steve’s strains. There are more than 2 strains of cannabis Nicky has heard about but never tried – like OG kush, Purple Haze, Blue Dream, and Girl Scout Cookies. Vee doesn’t have any of those. She may not have the greatest cannabis in the world, and is actually limited in terms of selection, but she sells top quality weed that gets Nicky nice and stoned. Nicky is sure the cannabis at the dispensary is more powerful, and better tasting, but it’s simply too costly!

Zack was self-medicating with cannabis

Zack always thought he could handle all his complications without any help.

This is one of his character flaws, he has come to realize.

A year ago, he finally started going to therapy, and Zack confesses that it was long overdue. He was so hell bent on doing most people alone, it hurt him in the long run. Therapy isn’t the right option for most people, and for years Zack thought it wasn’t right for him either. He tried to bury his complications with booze and cannabis, and for a while he was so numb that he thought he was improving even though he wasn’t. When Zack smoked cannabis all day long, he stayed high and forgot about his complications for a while. When the cannabis wore off, his complications were still right there waiting for him. My therapist Dr Kim said he was self-medicating with cannabis and whiskey and needed to taper off. He prescribed some pills for him to take, but Zack didn’t like the way they made him feel. While he knows Dr Kim is actually helpful with his mental issues, Zack knows the pills are more harmful than cannabis ever was. I decided to trust my instincts as well as resume self-medicating with cannabis, but he did stop drinking alcohol. Dr Kim didn’t like his choice, but Zack stood his ground, partially because cannabis is non-addictive, which wasn’t true about the pills he wanted him to take. Why should Zack risk developing an addiction to these new medications when he can keep treating his stress with safe, delicious cannabis instead?

Loyalty Rewards members are notified of every new shipment of cannabis products

Our local cannabis shop has started a new program they call Loyalty Rewards. At first we were hesitant about this idea, mostly because it costs 30 dollars per month to be a member. We thought it was just a scam, a way to take more of our money, so we passed. It took a while, but after hearing that pitch for Loyalty Rewards every time we went in the shop, we came to realize that the program wouldn’t cost us money, it would save us money. We are not some random folks who like smoking a little marijuana every once in a while. We are serious potheads, who smoke a great deal of cannabis every day. If we only went into the cannabis dispensary once a month, the Loyalty program wouldn’t be worth it. But we visit this cannabis shop at least three times a week, and since the loyalty program provides a 17% discount on weed, it would save us money. There were other benefits to the program, as well. Loyalty Rewards members are notified of every new shipment of cannabis products, with an opening to pre-order them. We also get a service called “preferred pick-up” which means we can rest in our truck and a budtender will bring our cannabis products out to us so we don’t have to wait in line. We have been told that in the future they will start offering household delivery service for cannabis orders, and that we will get free delivery. That sounds neat, but we sort of like going to see the cannabis dispensary in person.

Best of all it has a smokers lounge on the second floor

They even have a section just for farmers, with the unit people need to grow marijuana plants at home.

During the long, tepid summers of my youth Vic would often hang around the local ice cream shop. This home area was so small they didn’t even have a Dairy Queen, they had the cheap knockoff version called Tastee Freeze. It was similar to DQ, selling ice cream treats, burgers and fries. Vic would hang around there all day long, having pretzels as well as killing time in the killer air conditioning. Back then not most people had central air, so it was an extra treat as much as the ice cream was. Vic lives in a large town now, and is an adult so he doesn’t haunt the ice cream shop, instead he chills at the cannabis dispensary. His preferred cannabis dispensary is within walking distance of his beach house, is open 7 days a week, and best of all has a smokers lounge on the second floor. The first level of the building is a huge, sprawling cannabis shop, with aisles filled with every cannabis product you can know of. They even have a section just for farmers, with the unit people need to grow marijuana plants at home. On the second floor they have the cannabis smokers lounge, or as they call it the “Chill Zone.” Here you are allowed to hang out, play games, watch movies, vape, eat cannabis edibles, and basically have a relaxing time. His preferred thing to do is to buy one of their cannabis drinks, usually a fruit juice or seltzer, and then spike it with a flask of vodka he brought from home. Brad gets stoned and buzzed all at once.

Did you know that the cannabis strains of the 60s had only a fraction of the THC that we have now?

John has been spending quite some time with his older cousin Mark for the last few months.

He knew him back when John was a kid, but things are a lot bizarre now.

John is a school grad, he has a family of his own, and he can relate to his older cousin in ways he never could before. He has some great stories from the 60s when he was a wild and crazy Hippie. John’s cousin stills grows his own weed plants, like he has done for decades. John has been doing his best to broaden his horizons and get him out of the past and into the present, because the cannabis he has today is nothing like the stuff from the 60s. Did you know that the cannabis strains of the 60s had only a fraction of the THC that we have today? For a new day marijuana smoker, John doubts the old-timey stuff would even get them stoned. He hooks up his cousin with top quality cannabis seeds every time he is ready to plant. John has noticed the steady increase in the quality of his cannabis, and wants to learn more about how to improve it. He took his cousin down to the cannabis dispensary with him so he could talk to the experts. The person who runs the store was amazing, but he didn’t have personal experience with growing marijuana. Still, they sold handbooks, growing units and soil additives designed to help marijuana grow faster. John is looking forward to his cousin’s next batch of cannabis plants.

Getting busted smoking cannabis

Being a single mom with a teenage child is quite a challenge.

I’m not complaining, I cherish Josh and being his mom is the best thing that ever happened to me.

But it’s still hard at times. I have never been a teenage boy before, so I can only imagine how hard it is these afternoons, with social media and the rise in online bullying. When the school year ended, Josh had a few of his friends come over for a party. Trying to be the best mom I stayed out of the way and let them have run of the house. I went out into the side yard to smoke some cannabis, thinking no one would notice. Much to my surprise I saw Jake, one of my son’s friends, already smoking cannabis in the yard. He tried to hide it, but anyone who has smelled the sharp scent of cannabis will know it from 12 feet away. I told him to go ahead and finish it, and after that I lit up my own cannabis. I asked Jake if his mom knew he smoked cannabis. He admitted that she did not know, and that he had stolen the cannabis from her secret stash. I knew his mom already, and had smoked marijuana with them more than 3 times in the past. I told him that I wouldn’t tell his parents, so long as he didn’t tell Jake that I was smoking cannabis. He laughed and finished her joint, then turned to me and said “your kid already knows you smoke cannabis, dude.”

The table was littered with discounted items like cannabis drinks and vape cartridges

Ted’s grandparents are lovely old people.

  • Not only are they aging and suffering from dementia, but they are also on a fixed income, and barely have enough money to survive.

Still, they send Ted a birthday card every year with a dollar in it. A crisp, new dollar bill, every year. It actually means a lot more than the money, because a dollar is a lot for them. Every year Ted takes their one dollar and buys a lottery scratcher. This year he finally picked a winner. That one dollar was transformed into one hundred dollars, and Ted knew just what to do with it. He went to the nearest cannabis dispensary and started shopping for deals. Je wanted to get all the cannabis products he could, but in the spirit of his grandparents he wanted to be economical and get the most for the money. He asked the budtender if they had any special sales going on, and learned that a current strain of OG Kush was discounted by 25%. She then pointed him to a table in the back littered with discounted items like cannabis drinks and vape cartridges getting ready to expire. Ted was fortunate enough to find several packages of sour apple cannabis gummies that were BOGO (buy one, get one free)! By the time he left he had spent all his birthday money, and a little extra, and had a nice large bag full of cannabis products. Ted hopes his grandparents would approve, however they don’t smoke cannabis themselves.

In the future Missy will be the ultimate destination for cannabis

Why should a cannabis dispensary limit itself to just selling jars of weed? That’s a lovely start, and for most people it’s enough – but not for Missy. She is a completist, and when she does something Missy wants it to be the best. She opened her little shop some months ago with the goal of becoming a franchise, and the most popular weed destination in town. There are many other dispensaries in the city, so she has so much competition. Missy succeeded by going the extra mile and doing things the other stores won’t do. Taking growing units as an example. For all those other cannabis shops around here, none of them had growing units in stock to sell, it had to be special order only. Missy filled that niche and became the top seller for marijuana grow lights and insta-grow pots in the area. She decided to take it a step further and offer gardening classes on the weekend, to teach people the best practices for growing cannabis plants at home. She needs to keep growing and expanding, so her next idea is a cannabis smoker’s lounge, although that one will take a year to put together. Imagine having a cool lounge where you can hang out, listen to music, play games, and enjoy cannabis products? In the future Missy will be the ultimate destination for cannabis, and have something for potheads of all types. What ideas would you like to see instituted in her cannabis shop? Hit her up in the comments and let her know.

My sister wanted to be a cannabis delivery driver.

When she turned fourteen, my sister was anxious to get a job.

She checked all over our town, but no one would hire someone who wasn’t at least sixteen. My mom told her to wait until she got her driver’s license, and then she could get a job. My sister said she may as well wait until she was eighteen, because she had to be in by dark with the cinderella license in our state. When she turned sixteen, she got a job at a small business about two blocks from where our dad lives. Now, she could wait until she turned eighteen. She wanted to be a cannabis delivery driver. She told me cannabis delivery drivers make a lot of money, and they get good tips. I wanted to know how she knew this, and she told me someone came into the store where she works. He was talking about his job as a marijuana delivery driver, and he made it sound really cool. She wanted to be a cannabis delivery driver when she turned eighteen. I don’t know where she came up with the magic number of eighteen, because I thought you had to be twenty-one to work in any capacity with medical or recreational marijuana. I wasn’t going to tell her, because she accused me of not wanting her to work as a marijuana delivery driver. I didn’t, but what she doesn’t know, won’t hurt me. The last time I tried to sway her in one of her hair-brained ideas, she punched me so hard, she injured a rib, and I’m almost five years older and seventy-five pounds heavier than she is.

Reunion was saved with a trip to the cannabis dispensary

It was getting bad, plus somebody just had to do something. So me plus my highschool boyfriend Max jumped into his vehicle plus headed to the local cannabis spot. It had been such a long, long time since I had been in the place that I didn’t definitely know my way around anymore. For sure, there were no cannabis dispensaries back when Max and I were in highschool. And the village had grown so much that it was now this very trendy, small city, Max had stayed put so he was all in when I suggested some recreational marijuana, and local cannabis products have been legal for anyone of age here for seven years now. But that’s not what brought me back to my apartment town. It was my 20th highschool reunion that brought me back. The committee who put it all together definitely went far out of their way to get it right. I was so impressed with the turnout plus indeed, it was good to see everyone at the party. That said, it got boring real quick. And I was for sure not interested in being stone, cold sober for an evening of too much back-slapping. So off Max and I made the decision to go to the local cannabis spot. It was genuinely so nice to spend some time with someone like Max, who I’ve genuinely stayed close with all of these years. Max has turned out to be quite the dear friend. It was so much fun genuinely shopping for marijuana for sale together. When Max and I were dating, my pal and I wouldn’t have known the right end of a joint to light. And yet, here Max and I were getting a bunch of cannabis edibles for any plus all who wanted to indulge. Sure enough, it was those edibles that saved our 20th highschool reunion.
