My radiant heated flooring was a lifesaver this past winter
I am so cheerful that I decided to be prepared this winter, because every one of us was in for a major blizzard that left us stranded at home! I easily decided to get new radiant floors before the winter because I had heard so much about them; I had friends who were definitely raving about how unbelievable their radiant floors are.
I even went over to their homes to hang out a few times and I had to agree that they were easily nice; so, I ended up having new radiant floors installed at our home.
I was easily pleased with the lower cost in our energy bills and the increased comfort in our household, but the heating is particularly even coming up from the floors and you believe you’re toasty from your feet going all the way up. I especially prefer how the heated air rises so slowly so everything is heated evenly and this is why this genre of heating method is so energy efficient. And with regular central gas furnaces, the heat mostly shoots right up to the ceiling so you don’t believe it as much and you experience drafts in your home. With electric radiant floors, that is no longer an issue. Well, every one of us got slammed this winter season with a brutal blizzard and it seemed as if the snow would never cease; but luckily, I had enough food for a month and I also had a backup generator in case the power went out. The electric radiant floors kept us nice and boiling through the blizzard. I had a lot of snow shoveling to do, and every one of us was so ecstatic when the blizzard was finally over and the driving ban was finally lifted.
