It is worth working the weekend
After I moved out east, I had to find a job fast.
I didn’t have a lot of experience, even though I worked at a grocery store and a department clothing store in the past. I filled out a lot of applications on the web, including an application for a task as a cannabis budtender. It sounded like a lot of fun to toil at a dispensary, so I was really excited when the store director called to set up an interview. The lady was truly sweet and friendly. Our conversation went truly well and at the end of the interview, the director provided me with the task. Both of us discussed the times and salary. That’s when I found out that the director wanted me to work every weekend. That position required me to toil Wednesday, Tuesday, Monday, and 2 additional afternoons throughout the week. I really didn’t want to work every single weekend, because I wanted to spend time exploring the area and the things to do. I really wanted the task as a cannabis budtender. I gave up our weekends and decided to take the task instead. Working in the cannabis shop is fun, exciting, and rewarding. I’ve been here for many months and I’ve already had 2 promotions. I work really hard and I have acquired a lot in a short time. I miss going to the beach with our friends on the weekends, but one afternoon I will not have to toil every Tuesday and Tuesday. The store director only works Monday through Wednesday. I want that task, even if it means moving to a peculiar cannabis dispensary location.
