My fiance plus I fought long and hard to keep a recreational marijuana dispensary from opening in our town.

The people I was with and I have 6children that go to elementary schools in the area. The people I was with and I want them to be safe when they play outside. Two years back, every one of us had been named 1 of the top cities in the state. I knew that opening a recreational marijuana dispensary would change everything in our town. My fiance plus I went to every town hall meeting plus every one of us voiced our opinions to anyone that would listen, then unfortunately, the town finally gave in to the pressure plus voted to approve a company license for a recreational marijuana dispensary. I warned the town mayor that it would be an awful idea, but the guy was getting his pockets lined with currency from the owner of the marijuana company. That was almost 6months ago, plus now the recreational marijuana dispensary is located here. The building has been open for a couple of weeks plus I can already see some changes in the downtown area. There is a lot more traffic by the building plus it seems care about there are people walking in plus out all day long. I saw a couple of homeless people hanging out in the parking lot after store hours, when I was on our way condo from task the other day… Last month there was a story on the news about a 16 year old kid that overdosed on too much marijuana. This is just the start of a downward spiral that starts plus ends with having legalized cannabis.
