I have to be careful in my relationship with my coworker at the cannabis store
I met my boyfriend at work.
I definitely know that place of employment romances are completely frowned upon and at this company they are expressly forbidden, however my guy and I constantly have to keep things particularly chill while the two of us are in public.
If the boss figures out that we are together, he will absolutely switch our schedules so we will never work together. That’s honestly the best case scenario. Worst case is that he could fire one or both of us. I will confess the level of risk makes it a lot more exciting, however I would be depressed if I lost my work position at the cannabis dispensary. I’ve never been really into smoking marijuana, it was something I tried a couple of times and made the choice that it wasn’t for me. With that being said, I particularly love working at the cannabis dispensary and helping people get what they want to have. Cannabis isn’t for me personally, however a good amount of people love it, and I really enjoy my job. Marijuana smokers tend to be incredibly chill people, friendly and always eager to talk. I honestly see myself as no different from a bartender who doesn’t partake of alcohol. It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I lost my work position at the cannabis dispensary, however it would be a pretty huge bummer. But I have to take the risk, don’t I, because my guy is certainly worth more than any work position, even one as superb as being a budtender to a neighborhood full of marijuana fans. Let’s just hope everything stays just as it is, with an excellent boyfriend at my dwelling and great work at the marijuana dispensary.
